Natural Cures For Asthma

One of the reasons that natural cures for asthma – or any other serious condition for that matter – often don't work is because of a problem with the Western philosophy of medicine. In the Western tradition, You take a pill and you get better. The medicines are all very powerful, and they're designed to handle the problem on their own. Although they can often cause side effects and complications, many people prefer them because of their power.

With natural cures for asthma, on the other hand, treatment is more complex but often better in the long run. A natural cure for asthma doesn't involve simply taking one herb and having it make everything better. Natural cures for asthma involve a complex process. You might take natural asthma treatments, but you also have to exercise, eat a healthier diet, and even sleep more regularly to treat the condition. In short, you may have to make substantial changes to your life.

You see, asthma is a type of inflammation, and inflammations are complicated. They are triggered by allergies, fatty foods, artificial ingredients, and all kinds of immune reactions. Natural cures for asthma can help reduce inflammation, but they don't take the place of eating a healthy diet and trying to eliminate the other factors that trigger asthma. Eating anti-inflammatory foods is every bit as important to naturally treating asthma as taking anti-asthma herbs.

One of the best natural cures for asthma is simply exercising. This has to be done in a cautious way, as asthma is often triggered by exercise. If it is done right, however, exercise can be a great part of the solution. Exercising helps prevent immune system overreaction, strengthens the body, purifies the blood, and in general works as a panacea. It is something that everyone needs to do throughout their lives, since lack of exercise is at the source of many different conditions.

One of the most popular natural cures for asthma – at least until it was banned – is ephedra. Ephedra is a natural stimulants and bronchodilator. Although there are other asthma medications that are more powerful, Ephedra has the advantage of being all-natural. In some states you can still get it, and it can also be ordered off of the Internet. It is quite an effective treatment, and one that I have used many times for asthma flareups. Combined with exercise and proper nutrition, it can work wonders for your health.
